Brian is a social media and marketing expert with 10 years of experience providing solutions for brands and agencies.

A few months after joining Instagram, Brian launched a groundbreaking community for Instagrammers in NYC in March 2011 (@instagramnyc). He planned popular monthly events, secured sponsorships with brands like Warby Parker and Evian, and hosted the first-ever Instagram photography show at the W Hotel in Times Square. He was also featured on Instagram's blog and suggested user list.

As one of the first influencers on the platform, Brian traveled to Abu Dhabi and Miami to promote PUMA's role in the Volvo Ocean Race, created exclusive images for Veuve Clicquot's fall harvest in France, and photographed behind-the-scenes at an NHL playoff game, the US Open, at fashion shows and music festivals - all on Instagram.

Brian's unique insight into the power of Instagram as an advertising tool motivated him to launch The Mobile Media Lab in early 2012, the first company to focus on connecting brands with their audiences through visual storytelling. His expertise is in developing and executing creative campaigns for a variety of clients such as Sony, Expedia, CLIF Bar, Timex, Anne Taylor and the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Prior to founding The Mobile Media Lab, Brian spent 3 years managing marketing and sales at the Alliance for Downtown New York's startup and small business incubator, The Hive, and 3 years as Director of East Coast Marketing at Global Works Travel, a travel company dedicated to community service.

Brian volunteers with various environmental organizations and is a member of his city's Conservation Advisory Committee. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife, a chef-instructor at The Culinary Institute of America, and their energetic black lab, Shea.
