I started a groundbreaking community for Instagrammers in NYC in March 2011 (@instagramnyc) a few months after Instagram launched. I organized monthly events for Instagrammers, secured sponsorships with brands like Warby Parker and Evian, and hosted the first-ever Instagram photography show at the W Hotel in Times Square. During this time I was featured on Instagram's blog and Suggested User List.

Over the course of 2012 I traveled to Abu Dhabi (featured on Business Insider) and Miami (featured on ESPN) to promote PUMA's role in the Volvo Ocean Race, created exclusive images for Veuve Clicquot's fall harvest in France, and photographed behind-the-scenes at an NHL playoff game, the US Open, at fashion shows and music festivals - all as one of the first Instagram influencers

Seeing the potential of Instagram as an advertising tool, I founded The Mobile Media Lab in early 2012, the first company to connect brands with Instagram influencers. At MML I led all accounts and oversaw all campaigns, where I created over 75 marketing campaigns with a variety of clients such as Sony, Expedia, CLIF Bar, Timex, Anne Taylor, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. After exiting MML in 2018 I joined MWWPR the Senior Director of Influencer Strategy.

In the years before Instagram, I managed marketing, sales, and community life for the Downtown Alliance at The Hive, one of New York's first small business incubators / coworking spaces. Before that I spent 7 years at Global Works Travel, an experiential travel company dedicated to community service around the world. Explore my entire career on LinkedIn.

I am an avid environmentalist. I served as the Chair of the Conservation Advisory Committee in Beacon NY and as a member of Dutchess county's Environmental Management Council. I co-founded Green Beacon Coalition, which is a group of active community members who are fostering sustainability, conservation, and environmental initiatives in the City of Beacon. I now live in Montclair NJ with my family and volunteer with Montclair Climate Action.
